EU presidency - May 31, 2011

Nicosia on the occasion of the EU presidency gave successful concerts. The picture shows the Hungarian Embassy in Cyprus and their staff to see.

Tour in the United States - February 4, 2011


The Liszt Year occasion, from 4 to 14 February 2011 Hubay Concert Gypsy Orchestra went on a tour in the United States. The founder Mr. Sket István said: "I ​​worked as a dancer with Gypsy musicians on stage; founded Hubay Concert Gypsy Orchestra with the aim of helping young musicians after finishing "Talentum Music School" to perform at Gypsy musical events, preserving traditions and respecting their music. The first stage was releasing Hubay CD, which showed that our well-trained young musicians can not only play traditional gypsy and folk music, but they are also a talent at performing Hubay, Bartók, Liszt, Kodály's works as well as Bach's or Toselli's compositions. We are regular performers at domestic and foreign festivals, such as Spring Festival in Siofok and Debrecen, the Sziget Festival in Budapest, or at the Music Festival of Nyborg in 2006 Denmark.

Inauguration of the prayer board - January 13, 2007

Esztergom - August 15, 2005

For the first time in the history of the Great Cathedral, a gypsy band, consisting of 21 musicians, performed in the Basilica of Esztergom, and joined in the liturgy.

Kodály Anniversary Gypsy Band Concert Fills The Embassy

The Hubay Concert Ensemble gave a smashing concert in front of an audience crowding the Grand Hall of the Embassy on November 8 at 7pm. Lead Primate János Johan conducted the band of five, and their recital of Kodály, Bartók, Liszt, Weiner, Monti and Hubay pieces won the hearts of the young as well as the elderly.
